The Picture Bible is suitable for kids from 6 years to 16 years old. I love this book. It is actually a book of bible stories fully illustrated with pictures in a comic manner. The only thing is that it does not use the actual scriptures, which I strongly believe are God-breathed.

Nevertheless, it is still a good book to introduce children to the bible. When I was a child, before I know God, my sisters bought such bible story comics and magazines for me too. I love to read them. I did  develop a deep knowledge and passion for God. In fact, later, I prayed to receive Lord Jesus as my personal saviour on my own. I believe God still speaks to us even when we read bible stories that have been paraphrased.

So I do recommend this book for kids too and it is suitable even if the child is not a believer.
