Get to know God

Almighty God is in control & He loves you

In this fallen world, we see bad things happening to good people. Often, we do not understand why things happen that way. My child, know this truth — that whatever happens, Almighty God is always in control. He is sovereign, the supreme ruler, the only God who rules this entire universe.

We have learned in Genesis chapter 1 and 2 how much God loves us. We are His children. Therefore, know for sure that when you are walking with God, even when bad things happen, God loves you and He has great plans for you.

If you find that your life has been plagued with a lot of challenges, difficulties, tragedies and injustice, take heart, be comforted that God’s eyes are on you. You are handpicked, you are chosen, you are highly favoured, you are special to God. Don’t believe me? These are not some words written for the purpose to comfort you.. These are our LORD Jesus’ promises. These are the secrets of God that our LORD revealed to us when He walked on earth. Read what He taught in His earliest recorded sermon in Matthew 5:3-12, NKJV.

Understand this truth — when you are highly favoured by God, the forces of darkness in the spirtiual realm will plan out a lot of persecutions against you. People on earth will be jealous of you and persecute you. Never lose heart, never give up, never allow yourself to be discouraged. Turn to God, cry out to Him, walk with Him, put your hopes in no one except in God. In your darkest times of your life, if you remain in faith, even just a tiny bit of faith, you will discover that God works the most and the greatest miracles in your life. He is with you when you go through difficulties. In Genesis 39:2, 23, we read that the LORD was with Joseph and He prospered regardless of where he landed up in.

Joseph suffered a lot but God was in control. Every evil deed that human did, God allowed it because all those bad things were required to lead Joseph to his highest calling — to become the Prime Minister of Egypt and to presevere the Israelites, the human line where our Messiah would come from.

If you walk with God, putting your hopes only in Him, you will one day discover that everything happened so as to lead you to the highest blessings God had in stored for you.

God is still in control

My child, when you go through setbacks, hardships, tragedies in life, never lose hope in God. The truth is that whatever situation you are in, know that God is still in control and there is great hope ahead of you because God loves you beyond anyone. God is good and He has a great plan for your life, to honor and prosper you. Everything that happens in your life does not happen by coincidence. If you are walking with God, then be assured that whatever setbacks or tragedies that had happened was meant to bring you closer to God’s great calling for your life, the promised land that God has for you.

I know these words sound like typical words of comfort that are easily written. Maybe you have heard many of such words but the pains you are experiencing now is excruciating and unbearable. Press on, my child, you do not read this by coincidence. Be assured that God has great plans for your future. Be assured that even at this very present moment of pain, our LORD Jesus is just right there with you, feeling every tear drop you shed. In this story of Joseph, the LORD was with Joseph.

Are you wondering…

How to become a believer?

You can be a believer simply by saying this prayer:

Dear God, thank you for so wonderfully make me and thank you for sending your Son, LORD Jesus to die for me so that I can have the blessed life that you intended for me — a life of leadership and fruitfulness. Now I believe and accept Jesus as my LORD and Saviour. I believe that from this time forth, I am a new creation, I am born again and I have the eternal life that Jesus came to give me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
