Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life. And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God. God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to brood over the past.
Ecclesiastes 5:18-20, NLT
Record God's Miracles
Do not let the miracles that God did in your life be forgotten. Record them in your Mobile Phone or Tablet or Computer’s Calendar and celebrate them every year all through your life.
We are called to CELEBRATE!
There is a hidden treasure in Ecclesiastes 5:19-20, especially for those who are depressed. It is not easy to have complete control of our mind. Some times we are hurt by people. Even though we want to forgive, those painful memories keep coming back uncontrollably. Some times we feel lousy about ourselves and negative feelings overwhelm us uncontrollably.
One day, I read Ecclesiastes 5:20. It says that God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to brood over the past. Initially, I complained that God did not bless me enough to keep me busy and to forget the past. Then one day, the Holy Spirit reminded me of the verses before it. The hidden treasure, the secret to being able to overcome all the negativity is to celebrate God’s given riches and wealth, and our power to eat and to rejoice in our labour. We must recognise that this is a gift from God.
You may think you are not millionaires or billionaires. However, look at the health that God has given to you. Whatever you have bought, your hobby collections are your wealth. Your talents and the things that you can do are gifts from God. Even the ability to eat is a gift from God. If you focus your mind enjoying all these blessings everyday, whatever negative thoughts cannot hurt you.
So, this day, make a decision to celebrate!
Did you notice, when Jesus was resurrected, He came back to His disciples and had meals with them. He was celebrating with them. As believers, we are called to celebrate.
Often, we let the good gifts that God did for us be forgotten. Do not allow that to hapen. Record your blessings and celebrate them every year!
God loves you!
God loves you, very, very much. So much that He sent His only begotten Son, LORD Jesus to come and die for your sins so that you can live a victorious life. So that you can be blessed in every way. Anyone who believes in Jesus and accepts Him as LORD and Saviour will be blessed with the abundant life, the eternal life that Jesus came to give us. If you would like to receive Jesus into your life, pray this prayer:
Dear LORD Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I believe that you love me and chose to die for my sins so that I can live a victorious life. I receive you right now as my LORD and Saviour and from this time forth, I am a new creation, a child of God Most High. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
Record God’s Blessings in Your Life
In this post, we will show you how you can record God’s miracles in your Calendar and set up alerts to remind you every year to celebrate God’s miracles all your life!
Here’s the steps:
Step 1 - Add an Event
On your mobile phone or tablet, click on the Calendar App. Then add a new event.
Step 2 - Set it to REPEAT every year
This step is very important. If you forget to do this, it won’t remind you next year and this blessing that God did for you may just be forgotten. So do it as a priority. Set it to repeat every year.
Step 3 - Set a time
You can choose any time, maybe a time that you wake up, e.g. 8am in the morning, so the first thing you wake up, you will see this notification reminding you of God’s goodness.
Do a test on your mobile device. Because when I first tried it, I chose to set it as an “All-Day” event and I noted that I could not get the notifications even though I set the alert to be at 9am on the event day. It simply did not work. I can’t explain this. Maybe it’s a bug in the iPhone software at the time when this blog was written. Whatever is the case, make sure you test it out.
Step 4 - Set 2 Alerts
This step is also an important step because without this you will never get that notification on your phone to remind you of what God has done in your life.
Step 5 - Save & Check Mobile Device Notifications
Remember to save your event. Also, check to make sure that your Mobile Device’s Notifications settings for Calendar is turned on!
Also, when you change a phone, make sure that you are using the same email address and account for your new phone. Or, do add it to your Calendar settings..
One way is to create a Google account and have all your calendar save in your Google Calendar. Then regardless of what device you are using, you can add that account to your mobile device calendar.
Be always reminded that God loves you, truly, truly loves you.
Praise God and Forget not all His blessings & miracles in your life. God loves you, truly, truly loves you. He is a God who execute justice. A God who is truthful and He truly truly loves you.
Goodness and mercies will chase after you all the days of your life.
Because you are a child of God Most High, Creator of the universe.
Jesus keeps blessing us
John 1:16 (NLT)
From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.
Psalms 23:6 (NKJV)
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.
